Dear Beloved,
Respect is a strange word
That is both a feeling and an action
Some say it’s a human need

To respect someone is to see them
As an individual, not only as part of a team
To see their unique worth
Their right to pursue a d _ _ _ _
To respect someone is to listen
To hear the different ideas they might speak
To let them express themselves
Even if they seem like a f _ _ _ _
To respect someone is to treat them well
Regardless of their status or name
To show them love and kindness
Despite the survival g _ _ _
Respect is a simple word
Yet its impact is so very profound
It’s about treating others with dignity
