Let’s Celebrate The Good In America

Let’s Celebrate The Good In America
(An Independence Day poem by Wain)

Dear Beloved,

Though our Creator tells us that it’s sin
We divide ourselves based on the color of our _ _ _ _.

For many blacks, browns and poor whites too
America’s promise has often not been _ _ _ _.

Yet for many people who yearn to be free
America is still the best place to _ _.

Whether you thirst for God or reject His call
America is a place that welcomes _ _ _.

Whether you’re born in a place of peace or strife
America is a chance for a better _ _ _ _.

Our country is made up of sinners who sometimes cheat and lie
But let’s celebrate the good in America on this 4th of _ _ _ _.

Happy Independence Day!

Lots of love,

Wain
